TAI, an S&B subsidiary, provided design, program management support and integrated logistics support for the new generation YP-R class Training Patrol Craft for the US Naval Academy.
The 120' x 27.9' vessels can accommodate up to 40 officers and cadets and perform a variety of live and simulated training functions including seamanship, navigation and engineering. The vessel can remain at sea for extended periods and is one of the Navy’s showpieces for visiting dignitaries and graduations.
