Project Details
S&B is performing EPC for this 750 KTA grassroots propane dehydrogenation plant using UOP technology. The plant will produce polymer-grade propylene from propane. The project includes a sizeable C3 splitter column, which was installed in pieces onsite using a specialized gantry crane.
Other scope includes a modularized reactor section, significant compression equipment and multiple large fired heaters, along with associated infrastructure and utilities.
Once completed, this will be one of the few PDH plants operating in the USA. S&B is a market leader in PDH plants, including successfully delivering EPC for the first PDH plant in North America for PetroLogistics.
