Project Details

S&B performed FEL, detailed design and construction support services to convert an existing ethanol facility to produce 6,500 BPD of renewable diesel using beef tallow and distiller's corn oil as feedstock.

We were the primary engineering team for the EPC contractor on both greenfield and brownfield aspects. S&B was involved in all phases and systems and oversaw the technical management of all engineering companies involved in the project.

S&B was also heavily involved in the design of the original cellulosic ethanol complex for Abengoa before it was sold to Seaboard.
