Project Details

S&B is performing Owner’s Engineering services to install one of the largest green hydrogen production hubs in the world. The plant will use 220 MW of electrolyzers to produce 100 tpd of green hydrogen, which will then be stored in two large salt caverns each capable of storing 150 GWh of energy.

The plant will supply hydrogen to fuel the Intermountain Power Agency's 840-MW hydrogen-capable gas turbine combined cycle power plant.
