HOUSTON—November 5, 2025—S&B, a leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company, today announced Brett Searcy has been appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at S&B, succeeding Dean Quinn, who is retiring after 25 years of distinguished service.
In this role, Searcy will assume responsibility for S&B’s legal, risk management and compliance functions and will serve as a member of the company’s executive committee.
“Brett’s deep legal expertise and strategic insight make him well-suited to step into this role,” said Jeff Sipes, S&B’s Chief Executive Officer. “As we continue to grow relationships with our customers and deliver complex projects, Brett’s leadership will be critical in supporting our business objectives and ensuring sound governance.”

Searcy succeeds Quinn, who has served as S&B’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since 2001. Quinn played a key role in shaping the company’s governance structure, offered invaluable guidance to leadership and contributed to S&B’s long-term success.
